As a seasoned Electrical Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery of multiple electrical infrastructure projects, focusing on medium and high voltage (MV/HV) systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage concurrent electrical infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and budget-friendly completion.
* Lead project teams while upholding contractual and safety standards.
* Monitor and control project costs, providing regular financial reporting and cost forecasting.
* Evaluate subcontractor costs and claims.
* Prepare progress reports daily and weekly.
* Attend internal and client-facing meetings.
* Mitigate risks and issues proactively.
* Plan resources effectively.
* Collaborate with the SHEQ Manager to ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
* Support business development through tendering activities and networking.
The ideal candidate will possess a qualification in Electrical Engineering or Project Management and at least 5 years of experience working with medium and high voltage systems, including hands-on substation experience.
Requirements:
* Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary electrical projects within the MV/HV sector.
* Commercially astute with a solid understanding of project costing and financial control.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
* Demonstrated leadership, motivation, and team performance.
