Facilities Maintenance Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive individual to join our team as a facilities maintenance professional. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our facilities.
Main Responsibilities:
1. To carry out planned preventative maintenance on all building fabric under our control, utilizing our Plant CMMS/Cafm system.
2. Assist the engineering team with planned preventative maintenance on all equipment under our control.
3. Ensure that all contractors and staff are H&S compliant, including management and creation of documents for SSOW.
4. Carry out property and facility-related inspections.
5. Maintain an internal 'Best Practice' regime and encourage continuous improvements.
6. Liaise with the service desk/team lead and respond to all non-technical queries in a timely manner to ensure conformance with the relevant Service Level Agreement.
7. Carry out reactive tasks to enable repairs to building fabric.
8. Assist with the movement of plant and equipment as deemed necessary by the client.
9. Carry out daily checks on site as per client requirements.
10. Fabric maintenance, including painting and decorating, door furniture, office furniture etc.
11. Assist subcontractors to allow them to carry out their tasks, e.g., signing in, work permits and showing to area.
12. Reporting of any out-of-place findings to the contract manager.
13. Liaising with department engineers and other support personnel to identify and solve issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
14. At least 1 year's experience in a similar position and environment.
15. Any experience of the mechanical element of building services would be a distinct advantage.
16. Ability to work on own initiative with minimal direction.
17. Excellent customer service skills.
18. Good communication skills.
19. Must appreciate the importance of taking ownership of certain functions as allocated to the role.

* Working hours: 5/6 days a week.
* Week 1: 8.00-16.30.
* Week 2: 14.00-22.30.
