And be able to address issues promptly. Liaises with: AlldepartmentsMAINDUTIESPerformroutine cleaning and maintenance tasks on the Staff properties, includingPainting, soft/power washing, garden maintenance, Carryout repairs and renovations as needed, such as basic plumbing, replacing lightbulbs, and repairing damaged walls or floorsEnsurethat all safety and security features of the property are in good workingorder, including smoke detectors, security systems, and fire extinguishersMaintainthe property's landscaping, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, andplanting flowers or shrubsKeepaccurate records of all maintenance and repairs carried out on the property, aswell as any incidents or accidents that occurCoordinatewith Property Operations & Maintenance Manager and External Contractors,to ensure that all tasks are being carried out efficiently and effectivelyHEALTH& SAFETYTo fulfil your obligationsunder the Health & Safety at Work Act 1989 and any revisions or additionallegislation madethereto.To ensure that reasonable care is taken for health andsafety of yourself, other employees, guests and any other person on thepremises.To keep your work area tidy and safe and report anyhazard, accident, loss or damage to management.To be aware of trained first-aid personnel on thepremises and the location of first aid box.To observe all safety rules and procedures, includingthose laid down in the Health & Safety Statement for your place of work.To carry out and promote fire and accident drills asdirected by the hotel safety officer.OTHERDUTIESThe above is not intendedto be an exhaustive list and you will be expected to comply with any reasonablerequests or duties as directed by management.QUALIFYING CRITERIAPreviousexperience in property maintenance or related field preferred.Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills.Strongorganizational and time-management skills.Physicalfitness and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labour.Validdriver's license.Attentionto detail and ability to identify and solve problems quickly.Flexibilityto handle emergencies and last minute requests.
