We are seeking a Sales and Marketing professional with hospitality experience to join the hotel commercial team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy Development:
* Develop an annual sales and marketing strategy that is action-led, leveraging online and offline channels.
Creative Campaigns:
* Design and implementation of creative seasonal campaigns taking a multi-channel approach.
Market Identification:
* Audience and segment identification.
Brand Awareness:
* Increase brand awareness of the rejuvenated Abbey Court Hotel, highlighting recent improvements made to the product.
B2B Sales:
* B2B proactive sales within the corporate market and with tour operators and special interest groups.
Technology Knowledge:
* Understanding of the hotel technological structure including PMS, RMS, CRM, AI interface, GDS and booking engine.
Competitive Analysis:
* Benchmarking and monitoring the hotel competitive set.
Reporting and Collaboration:
* Collaboration with internal stakeholders, reporting on sales and marketing progress and metrics on a monthly basis.
Websites Management:
* Management of the hotel website content, assets, organic and paid campaigns ensuring website updates and development are optimised, creating experiences, campaigns, image/video content and ensuring maximum functionality.
Promotional Activities:
* Management of third party relationships with the hotel booking engine and online travel agents.
Marketing Budget:
* Establish the Sales & Marketing budget, for review by the general manager.
Industry Relations:
* Leverage industry relationships with Filte Ireland and Tourism Ireland.
Local Community Outreach:
* Responsible and accountable for actioning the hotels overall marketing, PR and social media plans while liaising and collaborating with internal & external stakeholders. Local community outreach - manage sponsorship and promotional opportunities.
Awards and Accolades:
* Work with Senior Management to assist in supporting the Hotel to achieve awards and accolades.
Customer Relationship Management:
* Meet the required revenue targets with the aim to exceed them as set out by GM.
Team Leadership:
* Contribute and work with the GM & any identified external experts to ensure the brand continues to be developed.
Sales and Marketing Execution:
* Work with key stakeholders within the Company on their Sales & Marketing requirements and rolling out agreed strategies in agreed timelines.
Requirements:
* Hospitality experience is an essential requirement.
* Target-driven, resilient personality, and a go-getter.
* Be clear, concise, and professional in all communications both verbal and written.
* Ability to multitask, prioritise and meet established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Work closely with management and other departments to achieve desired end results.
* Strong computer, presentation, and reporting skills.

* Strong written, verbal communication skills.
* 3 years plus experience in a similar role.
* Fluent in English written and verbal.
* Proven track record in a similar role.
