From the décor, location, concept to the crockery, each aspect has been carefully thought to make it the place to go in Ballina.Totalling 65 covers Daniel's is a bustling centre of fun, drinks, and excellent fresh food. Circa 120 – 220 covers per day with the Kitchen open from Noon till 9pm daily. Job Overview As Head Chef you will oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen and be able to manage, lead, motivate and develop the team.Responsibilities will include menu planning, managing the financial KPI's enabling business success, purchasing, health and safety including food hygiene procedures. You will have previous experience working as part of a fast paced, quality driven, culinary team, at Head Chef level, ideally within a reputable establishment. Key Duties and Responsibilities will include:Timely production of the kitchen rotaAssist with training the kitchen team.Development of daily specialsPlacing ordersMonthly stock takeMonitor and control food cost within budgeted guidelines.Oversee the food safety management system.The Successful Candidate will have.Catering and Hospitality qualificationFood Hygiene qualification and be able to demonstrate best practice.Relevant experience from industry with leadership and management skillsHave previous experience in a similar environment and role.Outstanding knowledge of food, culinary skills, and expertiseFeel comfortable in a fast-paced, busy environment.Have an approachable, positive and proactive manner with a growth mindset.
