We are looking for an CAD Technician to play a pivotal role within the design team for our well known Pharmaceutical client, based in Limerick. The chosen candidate will perform work assignments for producing and maintaining all engineering drawing files. Supporting capital projects and planned changes. Responsible for creating and maintaining engineering drawing files for existing and new equipment and facilities. Responsibilities Performs the creation, modification or retirement of engineering drawing files as part of capital projects, planned changes and periodic field verification. Supports drawing-related aspects of capital projects and planned changes to process equipment, utility systems and site infrastructure. Creating and maintaining of various drawing types including P&IDs, PFDs and architectural site infrastructure and layout drawings. Supports drawing enquiries and drawing requests from various internal departments. Assists Subject Matter Experts during regulatory inspections. Supports the Engineering Drawing File Periodic Field Verification Program. Supports drawing standardisation between all IOPS sites. Assists in development of department policies, procedures and specifications. Maintains a clean and safe working environment by enforcing procedures, policies and regulations. Maintains company reputation by enforcing compliance with local and government regulations. Qualifications Proficient with AutoCAD or related Autodesk CAD software essential. BS/BA degree and 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with biopharmaceutical equipment or manufacturing preferred. Knowledge of Autodesk Vault software desirable. Working knowledge of engineering and architectural drawings. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
