Design Build Search is seeking a Project Manager on behalf of our cient, a leading developer builder specialising in the delivery of residential developments.Our client focuses on creating clear and functional layouts, streets and shared spaces that support daily life and homes designed for comfort, durability and long-term living. It's where everyday life unfolds, families grow and futures take shape.The Project Manager will support the delivery of high-quality residential developments from planning through to completion. The role requires someone who is organised, proactive and detail-driven, with a strong understanding of the residential development process and a genuine care for quality and place-making.You will work closely with internal teams, consultants, contractors and local stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.ResponsibilitiesManage residential development projects through all stages of design, procurement and constructionCoordinate consultants, contractors and statutory authoritiesMonitor programme, cost and risk, reporting clearly on progress and issuesEnsure design intent, quality standards and placemaking principles are maintained throughout deliverySupport planning, technical approvals and discharge of conditionsChair project meetings and manage information flow across teamsOversee health, safety and environmental complianceAssist with procurement and contract administrationIdentify and resolve issues proactively to minimise delays or cost impactSkills & ExperienceProven experience delivering residential developments (housebuilding or mixed-use preferred)Strong understanding of the development and construction processExcellent organisational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders effectivelyCommercial awareness with experience of budgets and cost controlA collaborative approach and calm problem-solving mindsetFamiliarity with UK planning and building regulationsQualificationsDegree or equivalent qualification in construction, project management or a related disciplineProfessional accreditation (or working towards) such as RICS, CIOB, APM or similar is desirableWhata on offer?The opportunity to work on well-considered residential projects with long-term valueA collaborative and supportive working environmentCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for professional growth and progression
