Nursing Home Leadership Role
We are seeking an experienced leader to manage a nursing home in Dublin, Ireland. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to create a positive work environment.
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and company policies.
* Overseeing employee onboarding, continuing education, and development.
* Maintaining relationships with community organizations.
* Communicating effectively with stakeholders.
* Implementing health and safety policies.
* Developing evacuation and fire safety training plans.
Requirements:
* NMBI Registration (General Division)
* Minimum 3 years' experience working with older people within the last 6 years
* At least 3 years' experience in a management or supervisory capacity
* Post-registration qualification in Healthcare Management or equivalent (desirable)
* Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to collaborate at all levels
* In-depth knowledge of the ageing process and elder care best practices
* Genuine interest in working with elderly residents in a compassionate, person-centered manner
* Garda Vetting Clearance
* Working knowledge of the Health Act 2007, HIQA regulations, and relevant standards
