About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and highly respected distributor within the industrial process and flow control sector, is seeking a
motivated Internal Technical Sales professional
to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced technical sales environment and building strong relationships with customers and suppliers.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the external sales team, managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, and ensuring efficient order processing from enquiry through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to internal sales enquiries in a prompt and professional manner
Prepare detailed quotations and tender submissions
Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, and technical information
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently
Manage stock ordering when required
Follow up on existing quotations to help convert opportunities into sales
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
Participate in ongoing product training to maintain technical knowledge
Work towards achieving monthly KPIs and sales targets
Candidate Requirements
Demonstrated experience working with
valves and actuation products is essential
Strong administrative and organisational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with ERP systems advantageous)
Strong time management and prioritisation skills
