Job Title: Advanced Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Specialist to join our team in Dublin. As an Advanced Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate books and records at all times, working closely with the investment team and administrators.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support the MSIM Vendor Management program for outsourced Fund vendors
* Oversight of delegated activities to internal affiliated entities and compliance with Global Outsourcing Control program
* Participation in regular Service Review Meetings of outsourced Fund service providers
* Oversight of the production, review and approval of periodic Fund Financial/Regulatory reports
* Oversight of Fund annual audit and audit findings
* Fund Expense Management Process (reviewing/approving fund expense invoices and oversight of Fund Expense Budgets/Accruals)
* Review of Incident Management (requires experience with managing NAV Errors / fund operational issues & risk management reporting)
* Fund Governance - Support preparation of Board materials for the quarterly Board of Directors meetings
* Participation and execution of various Fund Change events
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have a detailed and thorough understanding of fund administration (including Fund Accounting, Custody, Depositary, Transfer Agent) for AIFMD European fund structures domiciled in Luxembourg and Ireland, in particular the ELTIF regime.
You should have experience with Alternative Funds and Private Markets (Hedge Funds / Limited Partnerships etc, SPVS), carried interest/performance fee calculations and share capital management essential.
A good understanding and knowledge of Exchange Traded Funds is beneficial.
General funds business knowledge for e.g. Product Development, Legal and Compliance is also required.
Skills and Qualifications
Strong communication (both verbal and written) and effective stakeholder management skills are essential.
Excellent time management skills including an ability to maintain a high standard of accuracy while managing various client related and internal deadlines.
A detail-oriented self-starter able to work independently or as part of a team focused on exceeding clients' expectations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel and experienced in various accountancy platforms.
Fluency in another European language will constitute a competitive advantage.
Business, Finance or Accountancy Degree (or other relevant professional qualifications).
