Senior Pricing Analyst - Strategic Pricing, Centre of Excellence Position Summary The Senior Pricing Analyst is a key member of the International Centre of Excellence (ICoE), providing analytical support and governance to underpin Zoetis' pricing strategy.
Reporting to the Strategic Pricing Lead and collaborating with Category Pricing Leads, this role involves hands-on analytics, commercial insight, and cross-functional teamwork.
The analyst develops price guidance, conducts revenue management analysis, and monitors pricing compliance across markets.
The role requires technical skills in data modeling and BI tools, along with sound business judgment to evaluate pricing requests and influence strategic decisions globally.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain pricing guidance for a wide product portfolio, establishing benchmarks for in-market pricing decisions. Review and approve or reject pricing exceptions escalated to the central team, acting as a gatekeeper for strategic deviations. Create and improve pricing models, analytics, and Power BI dashboards to support planning and decision-making. Monitor pricing guidance compliance across international markets, addressing deviations proactively. Perform revenue management analysis and scenario modeling to optimize commercial outcomes. Support contract pricing and tenders for Global Strategic Accounts, applying strategic commercial insights. Present analytical findings clearly to internal stakeholders, translating data into actionable insights. Organizational Relationships Collaborates regularly with:
Strategic Pricing Lead Category Pricing Leads International Finance & In-Market Finance Directors In-Market Commercial Teams ZDT & External Consultants Global Strategic Account Management Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field At least 3 years of experience in pricing, analytics, or finance International exposure and experience with cross-functional teams Proficiency in Excel and Power BI; SQL and Python/R are advantageous Knowledge of contract pricing, tenders, and governance frameworks Experience in regulated industries like animal health, pharma, or diagnostics is preferred Technical Skills Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights Experience guiding pricing decisions with structured frameworks and financial modeling Attention to detail and compliance monitoring capabilities Excellent communication and storytelling skills for non-technical audiences Knowledge of gross-to-net dynamics and pricing governance Proactive, accountable, with good prioritization and time management Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP S4 Hana/Vistex is a plus Physical Requirements Sitting at a desk with monitor; minimal travel expected.
