Description

We are currently looking for a motivated CNC Workshop Manufacturing Lead to join our group. This role is responsible for coordinating schedules, delegating tasks, and organizing training to enhance skills and productivity in our workshop.


Key Responsibilities

Evaluate workshop performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to increase efficiency.

Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.

Supervise and motivate team members.

Operate and maintain CNC machines, including 5-axis CNC and SPDT machines.

Serve as the subject matter expert on key equipment, influencing design and production planning for robust and repeatable parts.

Create Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) programs.

Produce initial prototypes, scaling up to production volumes.

Maintain inventory of completed products, tooling, and material stock, ensuring acceptable Quality.


Requirements

Experience in CNC 5 axis milling and CAM programming.

Previous 5+ years industry experience working with previously listed machine tools and other mechanical assemblies.

Experience supervising a team and coordinating schedules and organising training.

Working knowledge of safety protocols for all relevant equipment and workspaces.

Excellent coordination and mechanical skills.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.

Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Proficient in mathematics.

Basic computer skills.
