Job Title:
Senior Renewable Energy Planning Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of experts in the planning and development of renewable energy projects.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. They will also possess strong technical skills, including knowledge of Irish and EU planning legislation, environmental regulations, and licensing processes.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning and delivery of multiple concurrent projects with varying complexity, timelines, and risk profiles.
* Oversight of procurement processes and management of contracts related to planning and environmental services.
* Act as a senior company representative in external stakeholder consultations and public engagement initiatives.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with statutory authorities and interface with government departments, community stakeholders, and industry bodies.
* Represent the company at national industry forums, focus groups, and working committees.
Requirements:
* Honours degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 10 years experience in renewable energy project development.
* Proven track record in planning and consenting, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), and infrastructure development.
* Strong experience managing renewable energy projects in Ireland.
* Background in large-scale planning applications and complex, multi-stakeholder project environments.
