Becker Tansey Solicitors LLP is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Legal Executive or Legal Secretary to join their team.
This is a full time, in office position involving a broad range of responsibilities across probate and conveyancing matters.
Key responsibilities: - Audio and copy typing, including dictation transcription
- General administrative duties and office support
- Handling telephone enquiries and communicating directly with clients
- Managing case files and assisting with legal tasks under the supervision of a partner
- Taking initiative and working independently on tasks where appropriate
The ideal candidate will have: - Strong organisational and project management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Previous experience in a legal office setting, particularly in probate and conveyancing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with case management systems; experience using the Keyhouse Case Management System is a distinct advantage
- The ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a fast-paced environment
