Role Description
The Insurance Executive will play a pivotal role within a dynamic and client-focused insurance office in Ballina, County Mayo. This role combines technical expertise, client relationship management, and business development, offering the opportunity to contribute significantly to the success and reputation of the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing customer portfolios, identifying new business opportunities, providing expert advice to clients, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications
Relevant third-level qualification (e.g., business, finance, insurance) is desirable.
APA (Accredited Product Adviser), CIP (Certified Insurance Practitioner), or equivalent qualification is essential or must be obtained within a specified period.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an insurance or financial services environment, with a proven track record in client service and business development.
Use of Relay 360 applied software.
Experience in personal lines, commercial insurance, or both will be considered an advantage.
Technical Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of insurance products, underwriting principles, and claims management processes.
Familiarity with insurance quotation and administration software platforms.
Understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks in the Irish insurance industry.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts simply.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise in a busy environment.
