Job Description:

The Group Revenue Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue strategies to optimise total revenue performance across Fota Island Resort and The Kingsley hotel. This strategic role will focus on maximising room revenue, managing inventory, and driving profitability by analysing demand trends, market conditions, and booking patterns. The position works closely with the Director of Revenue, Sales & Marketing, General Managers, Sales, Reservations, and Front Office teams to ensure alignment across all revenue-generating departments.

This position is ideal for a strong Reservations Manager seeking to progress into Revenue Management, or an established Revenue Manager looking to broaden their experience across multiple properties. The role offers the right candidate the autonomy to take ownership, shape the function, and add real strategic value to the business. With the support of the Director of Revenue, Sales & Marketing, this is an excellent opportunity to grow within a dynamic and commercially focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

-Develop, execute, and evaluate pricing strategies and distribution tactics to drive RevPAR and GOP growth.

- Produce accurate 12-week, monthly, and annual revenue forecasts by market segment and channel.

- Support the budgeting process with data-driven projections and historical performance insights.

- Identify revenue opportunities and risks in advance to proactively adjust strategy.

Systems & Tools

- Manage and optimise use of the hotels' RMS, CRS, Channel Manager, and PMS systems (Opera Cloud, Duetto, Site Minder)

- Ensure data integrity across all platforms and channels.

- Lead the configuration and maintenance of rate codes, packages, and restrictions.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

- Monitor competitive set performance and market trends through tools such as STR and rate shopping reports.

- Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations.

- Track and analyse business on the books, pace, pick-up, and displacement.

- Maximise performance of all distribution channels (direct, OTAs, GDS, consortia, and wholesalers).

- Work closely with E-commerce and Marketing to optimise online visibility and conversion.

- Manage relationships with third-party partners and ensure parity and profitability across channels.

-Work closely with the Director of Revenue, Sales & Marketing to align pricing with sales activities and group strategy.

- Participate in weekly revenue meetings and present strategy, forecast updates, and key KPIs.

- Support Group and MICE sales in rate setting, demand calendar management, and business evaluation.

People & Process

- Collaborate closely with the Reservations and Front Office Managers in both properties to ensure optimal rate loading, inventory management, and upselling practices that maximise revenue opportunities.

- Provide training and support to on-property teams on revenue-focused procedures, such as length-of-stay controls, overbooking strategies, and conversion techniques.

- Standardise and improve revenue management processes across both hotels to ensure consistency and efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with brand and corporate revenue standards, while driving a culture of commercial awareness across operational departments

What we are looking for:

-2 year experience in hotel revenue management or a senior reservations role with revenue exposure.

- Strong understanding of hotel distribution landscape and pricing strategies.

- Experience with RMS (e.g., IDeaS, Duetto, or similar), PMS (Opera or similar), and BI tools.

- Highly analytical with strong Excel and data modelling skills.

- Strong communication, influencing, and presentation skills.

- Commercially driven with an understanding of the full commercial mix (Sales, Marketing, Digital).
