Arnold's Hotel, Dunfanaghy is currently recruiting a Junior Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.
This role is suited to an experienced Chef de Partie who is ready to take the next step into a supervisory position and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily kitchen operations
* Assisting with the supervision of kitchen staff during prep and service
* Running a kitchen section when required
* Ensuring consistent food quality and presentation
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety (HACCP)
* Assisting with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
* Supporting the training and development of junior kitchen staff
The Ideal Candidate
* Previous experience as a Chef de Partie
* Strong cooking skills and good organisational ability
* Ability to lead by example and work well within a team
* Calm and reliable under pressure
* Passion for maintaining high kitchen standards
