As we continue to expand to provide additional services to meet the needs of those we care for, we are pleased to welcome applicants for Relief Health Care Assistant positions for our relief panel nationwide.

We welcome you to join our team to help provide residential and day services to children and adults with medium to profound disabilities, including those with life-limiting conditions. Our multidisciplinary teams are supported by psychologists, behavioral therapists, occupational therapists, and speech and language therapists.
Working on a shift rota, you will engage in daily activities and routines of the service, including direct support to service users, administrative work, and household tasks. The Health Care Assistant works as part of a dedicated team within Residential Services, providing services in line with HIQA regulations & standards.
Essential Requirements
* Relevant QQI Level 5 Healthcare qualification or equivalent
* Minimum of 1 year experience supporting adults or children with intellectual and physical disabilities
* Knowledge of adults/children with complex needs
* Full manual drivers license and eligibility to drive in Ireland
* Eligible to live and work in Ireland without Visa/Permit restrictions
Main Responsibilities
* Assist with activities and care as assigned, ensuring high standards of care
* Recognize each individual as unique, prioritizing their and their families' needs
* Act as an advocate, providing information and support
* Develop social interactions for service users
* Handle equipment safely and appropriately
* Participate in communication processes, team meetings, and emails
* Provide personal care when required
* Maintain confidentiality at all times
* Work flexibly on shifts to meet service needs
