Lead Civil Engineer - Industrial/Pharma Projects
Sandyford, Dublin.
This is a 12-month renewable contract role as a Lead/Senior Civil Engineer to join a multi-discipline design team.
You will be responsible for leading the civil engineering design to deliver successfully for our clients and projects.
We are looking for someone with the right experience and skill set to manage the delivery of the overall civil design while being able to effectively coordinate their work with other stakeholders.

Able to work in a timely, accurate, and cost-effective manner with strong attention to detail.
Key responsibilities include:
Designing and developing paving and grading layouts.
Designing and coordinating surface and foul networks.
Coordinating underground utilities for the site with other disciplines.
Developing earthworks analysis and drawings for site development.
Engaging with internal discipline leads to agree scope definition.
Managing and reporting on progress and budget.
Managing the delivery of civil engineering drawings and deliverables.
Contributing to the continuous development of the civil engineering department.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
At least 8 years of project experience.
Experience in pharmaceutical projects or other industrial-type developments.
Chartered Civil Engineering qualification preferred.
Strong working knowledge and experience in analyzing and designing all aspects of medium to large-scale industrial developments including:
Site development, site master planning, and site selection.
Underground utility routing and site space planning.
Hydrology analysis for designing storm drain systems.
Analysing and designing gravitational wastewater systems.
Performing final grading plans including cut and fill analysis and earthwork balancing.
Support permit application process.
Working knowledge and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, Storm and Sanitary Analysis, WaterCAD, and WaterGEMS (preferable).
Expertise in hydrology analysis tools including Micro Drainage software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Benefits:
Hourly rate €60 - €70 per hour.
12 month renewable contract.
