Commissioning Lead – Data Centres (Dublin)We are currently seeking an experiencedCommissioning Leadto take full responsibility for the delivery ofMechanical and Electrical commissioningon a large-scale, mission-critical data centre project in Dublin. This is a senior, site-based role with end-to-end ownership of the commissioning process from early design review through to Integrated Systems Testing (IST), client acceptance, and final handover.You will lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate multiple vendors, and manage complex interfaces to ensure all systems are commissioned safely, compliantly, and in line with programme requirements.Role OverviewLead and manage the integrated MEP commissioning strategy from early design through to handoverDevelop, maintain, and manage the commissioning programme, aligned with overall project milestonesProvide strategic oversight of commissioning risks, interfaces, and dependenciesLead and coordinate all Mechanical and Electrical commissioning activities, including vendor-led packagesAct as the primary commissioning interface with clients, vendors, and subcontractorsPlan, manage, and attend FATs, SATs, FWTs, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST)Chair and lead daily, weekly, and milestone commissioning meetingsEnsure commissioning activities comply with EHS, QA/QC, and AP requirementsOversee safe systems of work during commissioning and energisationManage the preparation, review, and close-out of all commissioning documentationIssue regular commissioning progress reports to senior project stakeholdersTechnical ScopeElectrical SystemsLV / MV / HV systemsSwitchgear, UPS, generators, protection systemsElectrical testing, verification, and phased energisationMechanical SystemsHVAC systemsChilled water, pumps, and controlsFire protection, fuel oil, and process water systemsSkills & ExperienceDegree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or equivalent trade qualification10+ years' experience in commissioning roles within construction environmentsProven leadership experience on data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial, or mission-critical projectsStrong technical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems commissioningExtensive experience with Integrated Systems Testing (IST)Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple vendorsStrong programme management, reporting, and stakeholder communication skillsCalm, decisive leader comfortable operating in live, high-risk environmentsWhat's on OfferSenior leadership role on large-scale, mission-critical data centre projectsFull ownership of MEP commissioning delivery from concept through to handoverLong-term career progression within a growing data centre delivery pipelineCollaborative, professional, and technically focused working environmentCompetitive senior salary packageStrong project continuity and long-term stability
