An exciting opportunity for a Technical Sales Executive to join a leading organisation in the construction sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a broad range of construction products to developers, contractors, architects, and engineers across the Midlands and North Leinster region.
This is a full-time, permanent role which is primarily Field-based.
Responsibilities of Technical Sales Executive:
1. Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities for the company's full range of construction products.
2. Track and monitor projects from planning through to delivery to maximise sales potential.
3. Build strong relationships with contractors, developers, and design teams by offering tailored, cost-effective solutions.
4. Provide technical support and guidance on product selection and application to meet project requirements.
5. Deliver product presentations, technical training sessions, and CPD seminars.
6. Collaborate with colleagues in sales and technical support to drive opportunities and ensure seamless project delivery.
7. Attend construction sites to advise on best practice, troubleshoot product-related issues, and support project teams on site.
Requirements for Technical Sales Executive:
8. Third-level qualification in a construction-related discipline (preferred).
9. Minimum of 4 years' experience in technical sales, ideally within construction products.
10. Strong knowledge of the construction industry, building products, and current regulations.
11. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
12. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
