Job Role: Technical Support Associate



The Engineering department is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide comprehensive administrative support. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless operational efficiency.




Responsibilities:

* Coordinate daily tasks within the Engineering department, enhancing workflow and departmental productivity.
* Review, update, and distribute engineering procedures, guaranteeing accurate documentation reflects current practices and regulatory standards.
* Oversee document management, including issuance, tracking, and retention of engineering documents, ensuring all records are up-to-date and compliant with policies.
* Manage procurement processes by coordinating requisitions and purchase orders related to engineering projects, liaising with suppliers and stakeholders for timely processing.
* Maintain and organize the QA Document Room, ensuring secure storage, easy retrieval, and proper handling of quality-related documents.
* Arrange meeting room bookings for contractors and visitors without access to our system, as well as coordinate ad-hoc meeting requests and logistics to support departmental activities.
* Coordinate training schedules, track attendance, and maintain training records for the Engineering department, ensuring compliance with internal and external training requirements.




Requirements



* Leaving Certificate or equivalent secondary education qualification
* Relevant third-level qualification in Engineering, Business Administration, Quality Management, or a related field (highly desirable)
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Familiarity with document management systems and electronic quality management systems
* Experience with procurement processes and PO administration
* Knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory compliance
