With over 13 years in the business, the company is expanding and is looking for a skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to join their team in Galway on an Athenry project.
About Your New Job
As a Construction Project Manager you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will coordinate with senior management, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies to meet all project requirements.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage construction projects from planning to completion.
* Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
* Coordinate and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
* Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental guidelines.
* Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients.
* Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring high standards of work and adherence to contracts.
Skills & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience (2+ years) as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
* Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
* Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
