Objective:
The Housekeeping Assistant, plays an integral role with ensuring the highest standards of presentation and hygiene are maintained throughout the resort. Whilst ensuring the provision of an efficient and effective service to all visitors and guests to Luttrellstown Castle Resort.
Responsibility:
The successful candidate will report directly to the Housekeeping Managment Team.
You will have the ability to work on your own initiative. You will be professional, enthusiastic and have prior work experience within the hotel industry, with excellent customer care and interpersonal skills. This role is a part time role with weekend and bank holiday availability required.
Attention to detail, the ability to work as part of a team with flexibility are important qualities required.
Key Duties:
* Ensure the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness and hygiene are implemented and maintained
* Maintaining the general upkeep of the Castle, Clubhouse and other areas on a daily basis, to include vacuuming and dusting, washing and buffing floors, polishing furniture/fittings etc.
* Preparing bedrooms and bathrooms for incoming guests
* Preparing and maintaining reception room areas
* Maintaining all service areas within the Castle and Clubhouse
* Wash carpets and other textiles, when necessary.
* Assisting with in-house laundry
* Assisting catering & waiting staff during functions as required
* Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety protocols.
* Any other miscellaneous tasks that may be assigned to you by your manager.

Requirements:
* Permission to work in Ireland.
* Ability to access Luttrellstown Castle Resort, due to the location there are limited options with public transport.
* A minimum of 1 year's experience working in a accomodation department in in Ireland is a distinct advantage.
