Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their Limerick office.
You will be part of a highly technical team delivering projects across regulated and complex environments, with a strong focus on quality design, client engagement, and coordinated project delivery.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking to step into a role with greater autonomy, project ownership, and clear progression into senior leadership.
Responsibilities Lead mechanical building services design across multiple project types Deliver HVAC, heating, cooling, ventilation, and associated system designs Manage projects from concept design through to detailed design and construction support Coordinate with multidisciplinary design teams (electrical, structural, architectural) Liaise directly with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders Ensure compliance with Irish Building Regulations and relevant standards Review and approve technical design outputs and documentation Mentor and support junior engineers within the team Contribute to design reviews, project meetings, and technical decision-making Key Skills Required 5+ years experience in Mechanical / Building Services Engineering Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems design Experience delivering projects in life sciences, healthcare, commercial or industrial sectors Proficient in design tools such as Revit, Auto CAD, and/or IES Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving ability Confident communicator with client-facing experience Ability to manage workload across multiple live projects Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent) Skills: Consulting Mechanical Engineering Construction Benefits: Performance Bonus Pension Fund
