Post specific related information: The post of Clinical Skills Facilitator – Frailty is a pivotal role in service planning, co-ordinating and managing activity and resources within the clinical area. The main responsibilities are: quality assurance, resource management, staff development, practice development, facilitating communication and professional/clinical leadership. The Clinical Skills Facilitator – Frailty will deliver care in line with the five core concepts of the role set out in the Framework for the Establishment of Clinical Nurse/Midwife Specialist Posts, 4th edition, National Council for the Professional Development of Nursing and Midwifery (NCNM) 2008.
