Warehouse Manager - Little Island Cork An established manufacturing business in Little Island is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead day-to-day warehouse operations and support an ongoing programme of improvement and digitisation.
This role is suited to someone with strong leadership ability, a focus on process optimisation, and experience managing busy warehouse environments.
Shift pattern Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 17:30.
What you will do Lead all daily warehouse activities including goods in, storage, stock control, picking, and dispatch.
Manage and mentor a team of warehouse operatives to maintain high performance and strong operational standards.
Oversee stock integrity, cycle counts, and stock take activity.
Coordinate closely with internal teams to support smooth material flow and timely order fulfilment.
Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Support digitalisation projects including WMS migration and SAP based system improvements.
Deliver continuous improvement initiatives across layout, processes, and warehouse KPIs.
Provide leadership during a succession period, including a structured handover as a senior team member approaches retirement.
What you need Minimum 5 years' experience in a warehouse management role, ideally manufacturing or FMCG.
Proven team leadership and people development skills.
Experience improving warehouse processes, systems, and performance.
Strong organisational and communication skills with cross functional experience.
Proficiency in warehouse systems.
Experience with digital upgrades or WMS projects is an advantage.
A proactive, solutions driven approach with strong attention to detail.
Qualifications A qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, or a related field is desirable.
Training in Lean, Continuous Improvement, or safety standards is beneficial.
