Join Comer Group Ireland as a Carpenter
We are seeking a Full Time Carpenter to join our Maintenance Team. This role requires movement to work across residential and commercial blocks, completing carpentry and maintenance works.
The duties and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following;
* Fitting and repairing various household appliances
* Continuous communication and interaction with the Estate Manager and Maintenance Team
* Identify and report preventative maintenance issues to the Estate Manager
* Cutting, welding and assembling fittings, and fixtures
* To respond to and attend all building related safety concerns
* Maintain compliance with all company building and maintenance standards
* Regular communication with Property Managers to ensure all maintenance, water and gas related issues logged are resolved in a timely, efficient and safe manner
* Troubleshooting and resolving utilities systems issues
* Assist in specifying proper supplies and equipment for operations
* Preparing cost estimates
* To respond to emergency situations and call outs when necessary
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Carpentry Maintenance and Industrial or Commercial experience
* Experience in a similar role
* Excellent organisational skills
* Focused with a good personality
* Fast learner and ability to work on own initiative
* Excellent attention to detail
* Flexibility
* Immediate start available
