Role Purpose:We have an immediate requirement for an Electrical Engineer for an 18-month contract.The position offers an ideal opportunity for the right candidate to develop their career within a well-known medical device manufacturer.Core Duties and Responsibilities:Design, implementation and handover of multi-disciplinary engineering projects; focusing on electrical requirementsCo-ordinate electrical element on multiple projects on various production sites for the duration of projects.Implement and adhere to company project management procedures and SOPs to deliver projects.Verification, commissioning and handover of engineering systems to end users.Work as part of a wider project team and assist in the delivery of key projects.Provide technical support to production sites particularly on electrical requirements.Support installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and manufacturing equipmentImplement & maintain LOTO procedures to ensure safe isolation of electrical energy sourcesAssist with electrical risk assessments and safety documentationSupport equipment upgrades, validation, and commissioning activitiesEducation & Qualifications Required:Degree in Electrical Engineering with a Minimum of 3 years work experience in an Electrical Engineer roleTrade qualification with prior experience as an Electrical supervisor in a medical device or Pharmaceutical manufacturing site.AutoCAD skills.Strong knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and legislation.Strong problem solving and analytical skills.Demonstrated experience implementing or maintaining LOTO (Lock out Tag out)Proven experience of strong organisational skills.
