Job Title: ServiceNow Platform Owner / Architect
Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite)
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Platform Owner / Architect to take strategic ownership of a large-scale ServiceNow platform. This is a senior leadership position, responsible for ensuring the scalability, performance, and governance of the platform while driving innovation and alignment with enterprise IT strategy. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the ServiceNow roadmap, overseeing platform governance, and leading a team of developers and administrators. This role also provides the opportunity to work on complex integration projects, including M&A onboarding, while ensuring the platform continues to deliver value across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership and technical ownership of the ServiceNow platform.
* Collaborate with stakeholders across IT and the business to align ServiceNow with organizational goals.
* Oversee platform governance, change management, and compliance.
* Define and maintain the ServiceNow roadmap in line with enterprise IT strategy.
* Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow modules including ITSM, ITOM (Cloud Provisioning & Governance), SAM, BCM, Now Assist, SecOps, and others.
* Ensure platform performance, security, and data integrity across all modules.
* Lead and mentor a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators.
* Manage integrations with other enterprise platforms (e.g., LeanIX, OneTrust, Saviynt, Snowflake).
* Stay ahead of ServiceNow releases and innovations, assessing applicability.
* Support M&A integration efforts by onboarding new entities into the ServiceNow ecosystem.
* Develop and maintain platform documentation, standards, and best practices.
Skills & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
* 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in ServiceNow platform ownership and architecture.
* Proven track record leading ServiceNow implementations and managing enterprise-scale platforms.
* In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules, architecture, and data model.
* Strong experience with JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
* Familiarity with ServiceNow APIs (REST/SOAP) and integration best practices.
* Strong understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise service management.
* Experience in M&A integration projects.
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to deliver complex, time-sensitive projects in a hybrid environment.
* ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS) are a plus.
* Experience within professional services or managed IT services environments desirable.
