Childcare QQI Level 5 or Childcare QQI Level 6

Duties and responsibilities:
Supervise children in all daily activities, including homework, indoor and outdoor play time, and lunch time.
* Educate yourself on all compliance regulations related to childcare as well as our own internal policies and procedures, and enforce them (when necessary) in a professional yet caring manner.
* Assist children in learning to work together through a variety of interactive games and activities designed to encourage cooperation. Assist in successfully resolving conflicts as they arise.
* Help prepare children for lunch and snack times, and assist others on staff in handing out food and beverage items. Lead the children in the cleanup of trays, cups and the eating area after every meal.
* Collection of children, from local National schools
* Ensuring the overall safety and well-being of every child in your care
* Advising the manager of any concerns you may have about any child
* Attending mandatory or relevant training opportunities including CPD
* Maintaining a cleaning schedule
* May be required to prepare hot snack

Pay: €16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
