COO - Global SaaS Scaling Enterprise
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Chief Operating Officer to lead their global operations, drive strategic initiatives, and enhance customer success in a dynamic SaaS environment. This senior leadership role demands a strategic thinker who can navigate rapid growth, foster collaboration across teams, and deliver operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record in scaling businesses, managing large-scale enterprise deployments, and working effectively with private equity investors. Role Description
This leadership position requires overseeing the full spectrum of operational activities, including service delivery, customer support, project management, and internal process improvements. The COO will act as a key strategic partner, aligning operational goals with overall corporate strategy, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing high‑value client relationships. The role involves managing cross‑functional teams, implementing scalable processes, and leading organizational change initiatives to support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Technical Must Have Skills:

Senior SaaS Operations Management - Extensive experience in managing SaaS B2B operations, ideally overseeing revenue streams of €30-50M, with proven expertise in scaling and optimising service delivery.
Strategic Program Leadership - Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and execute large‑scale strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and operational efficiencies.
Cross‑Functional Team Leadership - Skilled in leading diverse teams across customer success, support, delivery, and implementation, ensuring alignment and high performance.
Customer Relationship Management - Proven success in managing strategic client relationships, delivering high‑value enterprise deployments, and maintaining customer retention.
Project and Program Management - Expertise in managing complex, enterprise‑level projects from scope to delivery, within time and budget constraints, using best practices in project governance and KPIs.

Technical Nice to Have Skills:

Private Equity Experience - Familiarity with working in PE‑backed environments to support growth strategies and organisational transformation.
Influence and Stakeholder Management - Ability to effectively influence US and international stakeholders in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial setting.
Agile and DevOps Expertise - Knowledge of modern software development methodologies, including Agile, DevOps, and DevSecOps, to support product lifecycle and performance optimisation.
International Business Acumen - Experience managing globally distributed teams and working across multiple time zones to ensure seamless operations.
Business Transformation Leadership - Proven track record as a project sponsor for enterprise change initiatives, with a focus on process improvement and organisational agility.

Additional Functional Requirements:

Operational Excellence Focus - Ability to develop and implement continuous process improvements, ensuring scalable and efficient operations.
Data-Driven Decision Making - Experience running teams with a focus on metrics, KPIs, and automation tools to monitor performance and drive improvements.
Change Management Skills - Strong capability in leading organisational change and fostering a culture of agility and innovation.
Effective Communication - Excellent in articulating complex ideas, aligning teams, and managing expectations across all levels of the organization.
Performance Management - Skilled in establishing and tracking KPIs, OKRs, and metrics to ensure strategic goals are met.

Educational and Certification Requirements:

Educational Qualification - A degree in Business, Technology, or relevant field; a master's degree is preferred.
Certification - Relevant certifications in project management, change management, or leadership are advantageous but not mandatory.
