Senior Deputy Store Manager
Our client, a prestigious and iconic department store celebrated for its rich heritage and exceptional customer service, is seeking a Senior Deputy Store Manager with proven senior retail management experience. This role will support their high-performing branches across Dublin in a fast-paced, dynamic environment covering Fashion, Home and Food departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record leading multi-department teams, thriving in high-volume environments, driving sales and profitability, and delivering outstanding customer service experiences.
As Senior Deputy Store Manager, you will drive both commercial performance and operational excellence across multiple Dublin locations, collaborating closely with Store Managers to lead substantial teams in Fashion, Home, and Food. Your primary focus will be delivering exceptional customer experiences and nurturing a high-performing team of department managers and sales professionals.
Key Responsibilities as Senior Deputy Store Manager
1. Drive sales growth and profitability within Fashion and Home departments across key Dublin locations
2. Support the Store Manager in enhancing both operational and commercial performance in high-traffic stores
3. Motivate and support department teams – including managers, supervisors, and sales associates – to consistently achieve and exceed KPIs
4. Elevate the customer experience through expert service delivery, product knowledge, and exceptional visual presentation standards
5. Develop team performance via ongoing training, engagement, and strong leadership
6. Analyse trading and P&L data to identify opportunities and implement strategic action plans
Skills and Requirements for this role
7. Proven experience managing high-volume retail operations with teams of 30+ employees to drive operational and sales success
8. Comfortable with travel across multiple Dublin locations, ensuring consistent performance and standards
9. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with a strong track record of developing high-performing teams and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
10. Results driven, with a demonstrated ability to lead large teams and consistently exceed KPIs
11. A strong background in visual merchandising, commercial operations, and both fashion and home retail is required.

12. Competitive salary: 60k-65k DOE
13. Flexible 4-day or 5 day working option (40 hours per week)
