Department Overview
Our Audit & Assurance practice is expanding our Asset Management team, covering sectors including Funds, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Structured Finance, and Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).
The role offers exposure to dynamic industries and collaboration across local markets and major international financial centres.
Main Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executing audit engagements, including risk assessment, audit program development, and fieldwork.
Ensure audits comply with professional standards and firm policies.
Supervise junior audit staff, providing direction, support, and guidance throughout the audit process.
Review work completed by team members for accuracy and completeness, offering constructive feedback.
Act as client contact during audit engagements, addressing inquiries and providing updates.
Ensure audit documentation and reports meet firm standards and regulatory requirements.
Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of auditing standards and regulations.
Support the development and mentoring of junior team members through on-the-job training and coaching.
Skills And Attributes
Minimum 3 years' experience required.
Qualified accountant (CPA, ACA, ACCA or similar qualification).
Strong technical skills (Irish GAAP, auditing standards, IFRS).
Extensive experience in audit engagements.
Worked with a diverse portfolio of clients.
Capable of working on own initiative.
Strong interpersonal skills essential.
Strong attention to detail and analytical assessment.
