Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Location: Cork City, Ireland (3 days a week)
Key Responsibilities:
* Process customer and supplier invoices accurately and efficiently.
* Allocate payments and reconcile bank statements to ensure financial accuracy.
* Set up and maintain new client ledgers in accordance with accounting standards.
* Maintain a register of undertakings to track business activities.
* Reconcile client statements to ensure accurate financial records.
* Prepare month-end reports to provide insights into business performance.
* Liaise with external auditors for ROS and VAT returns to ensure compliance.
* Manage payroll to ensure timely payment of staff.
