Excel Recruitment is currently seeking dependable and experienced Kitchen Porters to work across a variety of kitchen environments in Waterford city and county.
This is a mid-week, daytime role, offering the flexibility to select hours that suit your availability.
Role Overview:
You will assist the kitchen team by ensuring high standards of cleanliness, helping with basic food preparation, and contributing to the efficient running of a busy kitchen.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
2. Maintaining cleanliness in kitchen, storage, and waste areas
3. Assisting with basic food prep as needed
4. Adhering to HACCP and health & safety guidelines
5. Supporting the kitchen during service periods
Candidate Requirements:
6. Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or in a catering role (6 months+ preferred)
7. Strong knowledge of hygiene and safety standards
8. Ability to work well under pressure and within a team
9. Availability for mainly mid-week shifts
