This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to join a progressive team dedicated to delivering high-quality installations, maintenance, and repair services across diverse industrial and commercial sites. In this hands-on role, you'll be central to supporting energy-efficient and sustainable operations, working in a dynamic environment where innovation and safety are key priorities. Responsibilities: Conduct inspections, routine maintenance, and emergency repairs on mechanical systems while adhering to health and safety best practices. Align, level, and balance rotating equipment such as pumps and fans to ensure optimal performance. Perform welding, fabrication, and the installation/repair of piping systems and steel structures. Execute preventative maintenance programs to extend equipment life and improve plant reliability. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical faults, keeping detailed service and repair records. Participate in plant shutdowns: dismantling, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling machinery as needed. Support and mentor team members, sharing knowledge across mechanical and electrical systems. Respond to on-call and emergency maintenance requests as needed. Assist with warehouse and operations activities to ensure efficient workflow. Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment at all times. Engage in safety and quality initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement culture. Pursue ongoing development, including qualifications toward Lead Mechanic status. Carry out additional tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager. Requirements Qualified Mechanical Fitter or holder of a relevant mechanical engineering certification. Solid hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance and fault-finding. Skilled in welding, fabrication, and pipework installation. Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems is a plus. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with a proactive mindset. Reliable team player with the ability to work independently. Excellent commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
