We are currently seeking an organised and motivated Assistant Service Manager to join our busy aftersales team.
This role is ideal for someone with motor industry experience who is looking to take the next step in their career and support the management of a fast-paced service department.
Working closely with the Service Manager, the successful candidate will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the workshop while delivering an excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities Assist the Service Manager with the daily operations of the service department Support and supervise service advisors and workshop technicians Help manage workshop scheduling, productivity, and workflow Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality Communicate with customers regarding vehicle repairs, progress, and costs Assist in resolving customer queries and service-related issues Monitor labour sales, efficiency, and departmental performance Ensure compliance with manufacturer standards and health safety procedures Work closely with parts and sales departments to maintain efficient operations The Ideal Candidate Will Have Previous experience in the motor industry (Service Advisor, Senior Service Advisor, Workshop Controller, or similar role) Strong organisational and communication skills Excellent customer service abilities The ability to work in a fast-paced environment A proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills Experience using a dealer management system is an advantage A full, clean driving licence What We Offer Competitive salary package Performance related incentives Training and career development opportunities Supportive team environment within a busy and successful dealership
