Role Overview As a Recreation Therapist, you will design and deliver engaging therapeutic activities tailored to the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of our residents.
You'll work closely with nursing and care staff to ensure each resident has opportunities to participate in programs that enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities Plan and implement individual and group recreational therapy sessions.
Use activities such as music, art, games, movement, and sensory stimulation to support residents' wellbeing.
Assess residents' needs and document progress.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate recreation into care plans.
Organise seasonal events, outings, and celebrations.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment.
