ROLE PROFILE: Post holder should have professional and demonstrative success and experience within the Civils and/orUtility industry. He/she must be able to apply principles and processes required to manage projects ofvarying sizes. The person will manage the project team members in project delivery and work closely withcompany and client senior managers and representatives.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:Manage project teams including subcontractors and consultants to implement the agreed project programmes.Ensure that all Health & Safety requirements are adhered to and promote a Safety culture.Review and approval of project safety documentationDefine a clear set of objectives and accountabilities for all members of the project team.Produce timely progress reports as required by Client.Lead ERA representation at project meetingsEnsure the project remit is respected and a project execution strategy is put in place.Ensure that company systems are always adhered to by the project team.Planning and management of resource to programme, through a series of regular reviews and by planning to ensure the successful delivery of the project programme.Project Contract administrationDevelopment of project baseline programmes and updating of construction programmesInput to tender submissionsDemonstrate commercial awareness of project remit, calculating cost implications and financial awareness of subcontracts.Provide leadership and direction to the project team through good communication, commitment and accountability.Develop team members by encouragement through coaching, personal knowledge and experience.Lead by example and create a climate of collaboration with all partners by promoting a team etic and showing commitment to all projects.Building working relationships both within the client organisation and external contractors andsupply chain members.Recruitment of staff within agreed parametersAble and willing to travel between projects in Ireland as requiredCarry out any other duties as may be required by the business from time to time compatible with the nature of your postESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:Professional and demonstrative success in managing projects working in the Utilities / Civil SectorManaged Projects in excess of 5 million EuroAbility to work on more than one project at a timeExperience working in Urban areasResults orientated through personal determination, showing tenacity for the delivery of the project remit within agreed timescales.Experience in the use of Microsoft ProjectESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS / TRAININGCivil Engineering related qualificationFull Irish Drivers LicenceDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / TRAINING:Project Management qualification / certificationIOSH Managing Safely in ConstructionCIF PSCSCIF PSDPTemporary Works CoordinatorSafe PassManual HandlingN.B.
