As a Patients Accounts Officer Grade V, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our office. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
About This Role
This position requires strong numerical and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and third parties.
Main Responsibilities
* Process private health insurance claims from submission to payment.
* Manage bank lodgements and cash handling.
* Provide cover for the Patient Accounts Manager's leave and other staff members when required.
* Deal with patient queries in a professional manner.
* Ensure all records are updated and balanced daily.
Requirements
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including MS Word and advanced MS Excel.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Previous financial experience.
* Knowledge of private health insurance requirements.
