The position
As our Head of Project Engineering, you will lead the delivery of exceptional local capital investment projects. You will manage our project portfolio, ensuring projects meet quality, budget, and timeline standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and compliance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Leading the site project team in delivering local capital investment projects to high standards
* Managing the site projects portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs
* Developing and managing the site projects budget, optimizing resource allocation for sustainable solutions
* Implementing and improving project management systems, processes, and governance models
* Driving stakeholder relationships internally and externally, promoting collaboration and professional development within the team
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline
* Project Management qualifications and/or experience
* At least 5 years of experience in people leadership; head of function experience preferred
* In-depth knowledge of health and safety requirements
* Good technical understanding and competency
