Credit Controller Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen in our skilled Credit Control Team in Galway. We seek an experienced Credit Control Handler to join our team of 7.
The role involves working within our Finance function, delivering high-standard services to internal and external customers, primarily handling transactions like premium collection and debt management, often under high or fluctuating volumes and tight deadlines.
You will add value through effective customer interactions, identifying non-standard issues, and supporting team development with your technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
* Handling routine transactions to ensure customer satisfaction.
* Executing processes accurately within set timelines.
* Maintaining open communication channels.
* Managing Direct Debit administration.
* Identifying efficiency and service improvement opportunities.
* Adapting to volume fluctuations and technological changes.
* Following control and risk policies.
* Participating in projects to enhance operational efficiency.
* Proactively managing debt collection and maintaining good customer relationships.
* Achieving financial targets and managing workload effectively.
* Resolving payment queries and producing month-end reports.
Requirements:
* 3+ years in a finance role, preferably credit control (not essential).
* Strong communication skills and professional manner.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
* Positive attitude, team player.
* Organizational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
