Support Worker Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team in Residential Services. As a Support Worker, you will be working with individuals who require support with daily living tasks and promoting their independence.



Salary and Working Hours

This is a full-time role with 39 hours per week, based on a roster system. You will work a variety of shifts, including day and night duty, and receive 24 days annual leave pro rata.



Job Description

You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide person-centred supports to ensure a good quality of life for the individuals. Your key tasks will include:

* Providing positive behaviour and person-centred supports to ensure a good quality of life for the individuals
* Working closely with the Social Care Leader and families to achieve individual goals and outcomes
* Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the development of service plans


Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

* Previous experience of supporting individuals with intellectual disability and autism
* A qualification in Social Care or a related field (QQI Level 7 award)
* CORU registration or current/in process
* A full clean driver's licence (an advantage)
