As a
Product & Data Manager
in Funds & Asset Management, you'll connect business product structures with data frameworks, ensuring accurate product catalogues, reporting, and processes. You'll work with Product, Operations, and Technology teams to define structures, attributes, and hierarchies embedded in the data landscape.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and maintain product and service taxonomies for business lines (Custody, Private Assets, Fund Accounting).
* Develop frameworks for product catalogues and standard documentation.
* Translate business definitions into data models and metadata.
* Run workshops to capture requirements and align data across product lines.
* Partner with engineering and reporting teams for data-model alignment.
* Drive consistent product master data and definitions across the business.
* Support data governance with metadata, lineage, and quality rules.
* Lead product data initiatives and contribute to strategy and governance forums.
* Embed product data models into operations, reporting, and client delivery.
* Build dashboards and MI for product data quality and completeness.
Basic Qualifications
* 9+ years in product/data management or business analysis in financial services.
* Deep understanding of asset management or fund servicing.
* Experience defining taxonomies, data dictionaries, and metadata standards.
* Strong analytical, documentation, and facilitation skills.
* Familiarity with data governance and metadata tools.
* Skilled in Power BI, Excel, and process mapping.
* Degree in Business, Finance, or Data Management.
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with data catalogues or product master frameworks.
* Knowledge of AIFMD, UCITS, SFDR reporting.
* Familiarity with Azure/AWS and data modelling.
* DAMA/CDMP or product management certification.
* Experience with agile tools (Jira, Confluence).
* Proven influence in data governance design.
