Role Purpose
We are embarking on the next phase of our growth strategy, and we are looking for a dynamic, results-driven Sales Director to drive sales growth across the entire business.
This role has full accountability for increasing revenue, expanding market share and developing new and existing client relationships across all sectors and service lines.
The Sales Director will lead the company’s sales function while also actively engaging in direct business development and client acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Growth
Own and deliver the company-wide sales growth target.
Develop and implement a clear sales plan aligned with business objectives.
Increase revenue across all sectors and service lines.
Identify and secure new client opportunities nationwide.
Expand business within existing client accounts.
Direct Business Development
Personally generate new business opportunities.
Meet prospective clients and lead commercial negotiations.
Secure high-value contracts and long-term partnerships.
Maintain a strong presence in the market and represent the company at industry events.
Lead, manage and develop the sales team.
Set clear KPIs and revenue targets.
Monitor pipeline performance and conversion rates.
Provide coaching and support to maximise team effectiveness.
Ensure CRM usage and accurate sales reporting.
Private & Public Sector Growth
Drive growth across private sector markets as a priority.
Identify and pursue public sector opportunities where commercially viable.
Work collaboratively with Operations to ensure delivery capability aligns with sales commitments.
Commercial Performance
Protect and improve margin on new and existing contracts.
Ensure pricing and commercial terms are aligned with business objectives.
Contribute to revenue forecasting and performance reporting.
Key Requirements
8+ years’ experience in senior sales or commercial roles within recruitment or workforce solutions.
Proven track record of delivering significant revenue growth.
Experience leading and managing sales teams.
Strong client relationship and negotiation skills.
Commercially aware with understanding of margin and cost structures.
Results-driven, proactive and accountable.
