Assistant Accountant (AP & AR)

Armont Recruitment have partnered with a leading global retail organisation seeking an ambitious Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic finance team based in north Dublin on an initial 11 month contract.
This business has expanded over recent years through rapid development and they are progressively expanding their global finance operations within Ireland.
The role will report to the finance team leader and will suit a candidate with over 2 years' experience in AP, AR and accounting within a fast-paced environment.
The Role
* Accounts Payable
* Accounts Receivable
* High volume invoice multicurrency processing
* Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
* Accounting reconciliations
* Stakeholder management
* Development and management of existing/new projects
* Participate in cross-functional projects to support business initiatives and improve overall financial performance
The Candidate
* Minimum of 2 years plus experience working in a similar role within a multinational organisation
* Experience of multicurrency transactions
* Good accounting knowledge
* Strong attention to detail
* Proficient in MS Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, "if" function) and ERP systems
