Sorcha Homes Ltd requires an Accounting Technician to join their team in 2 Kennedy Road, Navan, Meath, Ireland.The Accounting Technician will play a key role in supporting the finance department with day-to-day accounting operations.DutiesMaintaining accurate financial records for all transactionsProcessing invoices, credit notes, and journals using accounting software systemsReconciling bank, supplier, and customer accounts monthlyPreparing and submitting VAT, PAYE, and other Revenue returns on timeAssisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year‑end financial statementsSupporting payroll processing and ensuring accurate recording of payroll costsManaging accounts payable and receivable, resolving queries promptlyLiaising with auditors and external stakeholders as requiredIdentifying opportunities to streamline financial processes and strengthen internal controlsRequirementsAccounting Technician qualification or related accounting degree preferredMinimum 2 years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance role requiredProficient in the use of accounting softwareStrong attention to detail with excellent organisational and time management skillsSalary - €37,544 per annumHours - 40 hours per week
