Job Title: UAT Test Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and quality-focused UAT Test Manager to join our team. This role involves collaborating with business and technical teams to develop comprehensive test plans for large cross-functional systems projects, with a particular focus on User Acceptance Testing (UAT). You will inspire excellence, manage meetings effectively, and leverage automation for improved test preparation and execution.
Responsibilities
* Partner with business and technical teams to build comprehensive test plans for large cross-functional systems projects, focusing on UAT.
* Lead meetings with participants ranging from 2 to 60+, ensuring effective communication of resulting actions.
* Identify opportunities to leverage automation for test preparation and execution.
* Proactively identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
* Facilitate the identification of test scenarios and ensure requirements traceability.
* Estimate resource requirements for testing and ensure realistic plans are in place.
* Ensure the availability of test environments and required data to support testing.
* Utilise analytical skills to investigate and resolve issues found during UAT activities.
* Report progress on UAT activities and issues to the project team and management.
* Participate in testing transformation activities by driving forward innovative approaches and methodologies.
Essential Skills
* Extensive experience leading testing/QA, with an emphasis on planning and managing cross-functional testing.
* Proficient with different testing methodologies and driving a quality mindset.
* experience establishing QA program structures for optimal return-on-investment.
* Ability to develop technical expertise and understand system interdependencies.
* experience with system and/or software architecture models.
* Strong organisational and documentation skills.
* SAP functional experience in MM/SD.
* Excellent listening, communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* experience with Sales, Logistics & Supply Chain testing is a plus.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
* Quality Assurance certification (ISTQB, ASQ, etc) and/or PMI certification is highly desirable.
