Social Inclusion Coordinator (SICAP Lead) – Full Time

Knockanrawley Resource Centre CLG (KRC) is an award-winning community development organisation delivering social inclusion and community development programmes in Tipperary Town and surrounding areas since 1991.
In partnership with South Tipperary Development Company (STDC), KRC delivers the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) 2024–2028. We are now seeking an experienced and values-driven Social Inclusion Coordinator (SICAP Lead) to lead the local delivery of this programme.
About the Role
This is a strategic and operational leadership role with responsibility for overseeing the planning, delivery, coordination, compliance and reporting of SICAP and related social inclusion activity.
The Social Inclusion Coordinator will lead and support a multidisciplinary Social Inclusion Team, work closely with community groups and partner agencies, and ensure high-quality, outcomes-focused supports for individuals and families experiencing disadvantage.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and operational leadership for the local delivery of SICAP (2024–2028)
* Coordinate programme planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting
* Lead and support the Social Inclusion Team to achieve programme targets and quality outcomes
* Oversee effective case management, coordinated referrals and progression planning for individuals and families
* Support community development, civic participation and community-led action
* Build and maintain strong partnerships with statutory, community and voluntary services
* Ensure compliance with SICAP requirements, policies and reporting systems (including IRIS)
* Promote trauma-informed, inclusive and empowerment-based practice across all work
* Contribute to organisational development and continuous improvement
Essential Requirements
Education
* NFQ Level 8 degree in Social Sciences, Community Development or a related discipline
Experience & Skills
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior leadership or programme coordination role
* Proven experience managing and supporting multidisciplinary teams
* Strong case management experience, including coordinating supports and referrals
* Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with individuals, communities and partner organisations
* Strong communication, facilitation, planning and reporting skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with CRM/reporting systems (e.g. IRIS)
* Full clean driving licence and access to own transport
Desirable
* Experience working within SICAP or similar social inclusion programmes
* Knowledge of trauma-informed practice
* Familiarity with SICAP systems, targets and reporting frameworks

Contract Details
* Full-time, fixed-term contract to 31 December 2028 (subject to continued SICAP funding)
* 35-hour working week
* 6-month probation period
* Garda Vetting required
